You can now install the shop on your phone like a regular app \u2014 no Play Market or App Store. The icon sits on your home screen, opens full screen and runs faster than the site in a browser. Installing takes about five seconds.<\/p>\n

How it differs from a bookmark<\/h2>\n

A bookmark just opens the browser at the right address: the address bar stays at the top, the tab bar at the bottom, and the page loads from scratch every time. The app opens in its own window without all that, and starts instantly \u2014 its shell is already on your phone.<\/p>\n

Technically it isn\u2019t a separate program but the same shop \u2014 your phone simply remembers it as an app. That\u2019s why it weighs a few kilobytes instead of tens of megabytes and updates itself, with nothing extra to download.<\/p>\n

How to install on Android<\/h2>\n

Open firstlayer.com.ua<\/a> in Chrome. On the home page, find the \u201cFirst Layer on your phone screen\u201d block and tap \u201cInstall the app\u201d \u2014 the system will ask and you confirm.<\/p>\n

If the button doesn\u2019t work for some reason, the same option is in the browser menu: three dots at the top right \u2192 \u201cInstall app\u201d or \u201cAdd to Home screen\u201d.<\/p>\n

How to install on iPhone<\/h2>\n

On iPhone installation only works through Safari \u2014 Apple doesn\u2019t allow it in Chrome. Open the site in Safari, tap \u201cShare\u201d (the square with an arrow at the bottom of the screen), scroll down and choose \u201cAdd to Home Screen\u201d, then \u201cAdd\u201d.<\/p>\n

The icon will appear among your other apps. It also opens full screen, without Safari\u2019s bars.<\/p>\n

What it means in practice<\/h2>\n

The shop opens with one tap from your home screen, no digging through browser history. The catalogue and product pages load noticeably faster because your phone already holds the site\u2019s shell. Cart, prices, orders and your account are the same as on the website: if you add something to the cart on your computer, it\u2019ll be in the app too.<\/p>\n

Another small but handy touch: if your internet drops, the app won\u2019t show a blank browser error page. Instead it opens our page with a phone number \u2014 you can call even without mobile data.<\/p>\n

Storage, updates, removal<\/h2>\n

The app takes up almost no space \u2014 it\u2019s an icon plus a small service file. There are no updates to wait for: as soon as we change something on the website, it\u2019s in the app too.<\/p>\n

You remove it like any other icon: press and hold \u2192 \u201cRemove\u201d. Your orders and cart don\u2019t go anywhere \u2014 they\u2019re tied to your account, not to the icon.<\/p>\n
