First Layer is a shop for Bambu Lab 3D printer parts and materials. We’ve gathered in one place what you’d normally spend months hunting for on overseas marketplaces.
Why we do this
We print ourselves. And more than once we’ve had a printer sitting idle because of a hundred-hryvnia nozzle, with a three-week wait for a parcel from abroad. That’s why First Layer keeps popular items in stock in Ukraine: orders placed before 17:00 on a weekday (before 15:00 on Saturday) ship the same day. And if you’re in Kyiv, you can pick up yourself near Vasylkivska metro station.
How we choose our range
- We check compatibility ourselves. Every product page lists the specific printer models it fits. If a part only fits some models in a series, we say so.
- Originals and alternatives are clearly labelled. An alternative isn’t worse by definition, but you should know what you’re buying. For alternatives we name the manufacturer and explain exactly how they differ.
- We don’t sell what we don’t understand. If we can’t explain when a part is needed and what it affects, it won’t be in the catalogue.
What else you’ll find here
Besides the shop, we run a blog with guides — step by step, with photos, and no “just reflash the firmware”. We’ve also built an interactive printer diagram: pick a part, see the typical symptoms and compatible parts. It’s a faster way to work out what broke than scrolling through forums.
